QUESTION

I have been charting my BBT and using ovulation test strips, and recently noticed an LH surge that lasted two days and then my BBT spiked.

I assumed that I had ovulated, but my LH levels have remained high (positive test trip--that is, the test line was about the same color intensity as the control) for three more days. Is it possible I ovulated twice? Or is something wrong with the test or how I am reading it?

ANSWER

It's possible that you just had a large enough surge to trip the test for more days than usual, which should not affect your ability to conceive.
